Target golf
Played here on vacation from LA twice. One day it was amazingly windy, the other day conditions were nice. The day the wind came up the comparison that comes to mind is torture and brutality. When conditions were good, the course was merely very, very difficult. If you do not hit the ball to the exact places that Tom Weiskopf wants you to hit it, you are severely penalized. This is probably a good course, but it is not a fun course. I have not played enough of TW's courses to know if this is a unique design, but I'm tired of designers who equate "hard" with "good". For me, a good course offers a good player a challenge yet offers a not-so-good player a fun golf experience. This course is not that.
Based on my experience,
I would not play this course again.
