Outing Information

The object of an outing can be one of two things: to raise money for a worthy cause or as a fun day rewarding hard work.

What could be more impressive to either attendee category than to offer them a day on a Jack Nicklaus "Signature" golf course - of course followed by a perfect post-golf event in our impeccable facilities!

We can accommodate from 20 to 144 players in many formats. Our experienced team of hospitality experts is available to assist you with organizing and executing your event. Actually, we make it quite possibly the simplest event you'll ever organize: Call us and tell us what you want. We'll take it from there!

Conveniently located in central Missouri, we are two and one-half hours away from both Kansas City and St. Louis, and approximately an hour and one-half from Columbia and Springfield.

The Club at Porto Cima, rated #4 by Golf Digest for "Best New Private Courses" for 2002, has been rated in the top 10 courses in the state of Missouri since its opening in 2000.

The Club at Porto Cima Yacht Club and/or Clubhouse can hold up to 200 guests for scoring, awards and food & beverage functions following play. We also offer a bar-b-que cookout or box lunches prior to play.

Some venues might just look at it as another wedding but our work is just beginning when a bride chooses us. We strive to make sure that no matter the request we provide it or find someone who can. That is the meaning behind our slogan at the Club at Porto Cima.For your wedding - or really any event that has to be special - The Club at Porto Cima is the perfect backdrop. The 6000 square foot Yacht Club is located near the Clubhouse, continuing the Mediterranean feel of the club in its architectural design.

Your line is, "I do." Ours is, "We will!" We'll do anything and everything humanly possible to ensure that your special day comes off like a well-rehearsed Broadway production.

If you want it for your wedding, we'll either provide it or, working with a select short list of trusted local service providers, we will find it. That includes assisting you with a local wedding cake baker, floral, and much more. We have held a wide variety of weddings that some clubs shy away from! Our Banquet/Wedding Coordinator has the experience and knowledge of the industry to make sure no detail is overlooked. Our Executive Chef has over 15 years of experience in the fine dining industry and is skilled in all types of cuisines. The rest of the hospitality team here is well-versed and enthusiastic to serve you and your guests!
