Description
The 18-hole "Woods Fort" course at the Woods Fort Country Club facility in Troy, Missouri features 6,404 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.8 and it has a slope rating of 129. Designed by Jerry Loomis, the Woods Fort golf course opened in 1994. Josh Lenk manages the course as the Golf Professional.
This course was built on gently rolling hills, so you can expect some uneven lies. The fairways are relatively wide and generous, and the greens are average sized and flat. Water hazards come into play on four holes. The signature hole is #7: a 345 yard, Par 4 requiring a shot over a creek to a well-bunkered landing area, then an approach shot to a small sloping green guarded by a lake in front and out of bounds on the right.
